Increased likelihood of a volcanic eruption in the coming days, Southern Iceland 

The Icelandic Met Office has closely been following the activity near the town of Grindavik which was forced to evacuate multiple times due to the January 14th and February 8th, 2024 eruptions. Over the last month, The area east of Sýlingarfell is exhibiting unrest similar to the eruptions at the beginning of the year.
